Office Manager & Compliance Officer - Bratislava

Job purpose

This position will have a shared area of responsibility between an office manager position and a compliance officer. The successful candidate will have a general understanding of the workings of the company and the general market for residence and citizenship services.

Main Responsibilities

  • The ability to build and maintain good and lasting relationships with both internal and external clients
  • Carrying out general business administration accurately and consistently
  • Maintain external work relationships with Service Providers (local and partly international), Clients, Consultants, Agencies, Advisors, Public & Government institutions
  • Maintain internal work relationships with Henley & Partners Group Global Office Network, Managing Partners & Managing Directors
  • Deal and assist with Mid & low level operational issues
  • Undertake all relevant administrative support tasks for making the Bratislava Office fully functional
  • Co-ordination of service providers
  • Completing all office management tasks
  • Ongoing organizational tasks
  • Gathering data in Excel lists (diverse staff lists, payments, diverse contact lists, etc.)
  • Create physical filing system, organize the electronic filing system for documents to be uploaded (for other staff members)
  • Support the Head of IT and Head of Marketing (both based in Bratislava) in small, clearly defined project-related tasks
  • Representing the Bratislava office in activities and alignments within the organization
  • Complete all other tasks developing over time, necessary in fulfillment of typical office management responsibilities in Bratislava

Key skills and experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a corporate environment
  • Have a strong work ethic and the ability to address multiple tasks in a short time frame and be able to stick to strict deadlines
  • Basic understanding of operational and strategic business aspects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and self-awareness
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Skilled and knowledgeable with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, esp. Powerpoint, Excel and Word
  • Oral and written communication in English and Slovak
  • Either English mother tongue or English skills of a high level (business fluent)
