Citizenship-by-Investment in Antigua and Barbuda

Legal Basis

The citizenship-by-investment program, which the Government of Antigua and Barbuda launched at the annual Henley & Partners Global Residence and Citizenship Conference in November 2012, was passed by both houses of Parliament in March 2013.

The laws regarding the Citizenship-by-Investment program are contained in the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Act, 2013 and the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Regulations, 2013. It is expected that the first applications under the citizenship-by-investment program will be accepted during the third quarter of 2013.
