Unspoilt and exotic, it boasts dramatic scenery, tropical rain forests, cascading waterfalls and golden beaches. Along with its sister islands, Carriacou and Petite Martinique, it offers a wide assortment of exotic scenery, varied activities and rich culture.
Nestled in one of the most spectacular locations in the world, Port Louis Maritime Village overlooks the historic capital of St. George’s to the north, the Caribbean Sea to the west, and the stunning new marina set against the backdrop of verdant mountains to the east.
This lifestyle haven will sport a mixture of luxurious hotels, a yacht club, spa, tax-free retail shops, expansive villas and penthouses as well as bijou studios and spacious apartments, together with a world-class Camper & Nicholsons Marinas. Residential, commercial, leisure and retail opportunities exist. The Grenada Citizenship-by-Investment Program also offers applicants qualifying freehold titled lots and larger bespoke homes as an alternative investment. Significant tax and other favorable concessions apply.
The first hotel at Port Louis Maritime Village will adopt the unique concept of a land yacht design, incorporating the interior features and nuances of a super yacht main cabin, but on terra firma. The property will comprise of a main building with 60 cabins as well as smaller satellite buildings of 10 cabins, all with retail and commercial opportunities within the main hotel estate.
When you leave your cabin, you will find lush, tropical landscaping, a swimming pool, gymnasium and spa, as well as shops, a bakery, restaurants and bars. The cabins will encompass unique features such as pocket doors, an outdoor barbecue kitchenette, a wet bar and a convertible lounge/bedroom design that allows for a daytime and night-time arrangement.
Prospective applicants may apply for Grenadian citizenship while investing in the condominium title of one of these limited-release units without the onus of holding costs or capital calls. These owners will be bound to hold the property for a minimum period of five years from completion, after which the Company intends to sell the ongoing business and distribute the proceeds to the investors. The Grenadian government fully supports the opportunities in what many describe as Grenada’s West-Indian chic but discrete answer to St. Tropez, Portofino, Costa Smeralda or St. Barts.
Grenada prides itself on its pristine beaches and crystal-clear, turquoise waters. Swimming, snorkeling and diving within the reefs shielding the islands are spectacular. These diving waters with a vast array of marine life also hold fascinating shipwrecks to explore. There is fine game fishing around the island for marlin, tuna and sailfish. Almost one quarter of Granada’s terrain is preserved as national parkland or wildlife sanctuaries. The land rises steeply from the coast to a peak of almost 900 m covered with extensive tropical rainforests. There are cascading mountain streams, carpets of sweet-scented wild lilies, and waterfalls tumbling down into perfectly formed, natural bathing pools. Mango, avocado, papaya and coconut trees grow in profusion along the trails.
With an average temperature of around 28 °C, the island’s delights can be enjoyed throughout the year.
