Mark Rovinskiy specializes in tax law, focusing on international tax planning matters and tax structuring of private capital. Currently Mark advises private and corporate clients on the application of Controlled Foreign Companies (CFC) legislation, which involves complex corporate and business restructuring for the purposes of limiting CFC’s exposure on exiting business structures. Having extensive experience in the tax filed, Mark also provides support when it comes to structuring large foreign investment projects.
In addition, Mark has proved himself as an expert when it comes to settling tax disputes. Mark's track record in tax disputes resolution includes successful representation of major Russian and international enterprises from various industries such as heavy industry, automotive, manufacturing, IT, real estate and trade.
Mark is a visiting lecturer at the Russian Chamber of Tax Advisors and a regular contributor to various Doing Business Guides, including the World Bank's DB report. He is a member of the Russian Chamber of Tax Advisers, European Fiscal Association and Confédération Fiscal Européenne.
Mr. Rovinskiy graduated from the Law School of Lomonosov Moscow State University (2005) and is certified as a tax adviser by the Russian Chamber of Tax Advisers (2008).
