The Human Resources Manager has the overall responsibility of overseeing matters related to the employees of the firm, including but not limited to HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee development, and policy compliance.
Key responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the staff recruitment process: advise on and write job descriptions, advertise roles through various media channels, filter and benchmark received applications, coordinate and hold interviews, ensure that the group recruitment process is adhered to
Manage all aspects of the onboarding process: prepare employment documents, engage with new employees, provide induction training
Ensure training is completed as per the firm’s internal policy and work with mentors to ensure training documents are prepared and uploaded accordingly
Manage the offboarding process: carry out exit interviews and ensure termination according to company policies
Oversee all administrative aspects related to the HR Department
Oversee performance management: provide assistance with performance appraisals and employee surveys
Assist with employees’ grievances and ensure that the group disciplinary action policy is adhered to
Oversee health and safety
Contribute to and review HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with respective jurisdictional laws and that employees are abiding by the policies
Update and maintain employees’ records on the People HR software
Adhere to the moral and ethical principles of the firm
Provide general HR guidance and advice
Keep track of employee probation periods and insurance benefits

Desirable skills
At least three years of experience in a similar role within an international organization
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or similar field
Experience with Latin American labor laws (considered an asset)
