Senior Project Manager — Fiji

Reporting to the Group Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Project Manager will support the COO in all operational and organizational tasks. They will work closely with the Group Chief Executive Officer, the members of the Executive Committee, and the Office and Department Heads located in over 55 offices around the world to coordinate high-profile projects, business development, and the collaboration activities of Henley & Partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with external parties such as high-ranking government officials (heads of state, prime ministers, foreign affairs ministers), industry representatives (residence and citizenship by investment advisors, real estate brokers and developers), and service providers (law firms, tax advisors)
  • Maintain positive engagement with the internal stakeholders: Group CEO and COO, the Executive Committee, Office and Department Heads
  • Manage complex and high-profile projects
  • Drive business development: strengthen existing and develop new business relationships
  • Implement the firm’s group strategy
  • Negotiate and close contracts
  • Support and improve current government mandates

Essential skills

  • Proven track record in project management and sales
  • Excellent competence in managing resources, stakeholders, and project teams
  • Strategic planning and vision
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, including exercising tact and diplomacy at all times
  • Presentation and public speaking skills
  • Unquestionable personal code of ethics and integrity

Desirable skills

  • At least five years of experience in managing complex and high-profile projects
  • At least two years of experience in sales
  • Master’s degree or higher
  • Exhibited political and organizational agility
  • Background in strategy consulting
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate in English and preferably at least another world language
