Akram Mukhamatkulov is the Head of the Representative Office for Henley & Partners Switzerland AG in Central Asia, based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He has over ten years of experience in migration policy. Before joining Henley & Partners in 2017, Akram worked at the International Centre for Migration Policy Development in Vienna and Brussels, where he contributed to intergovernmental dialogue programs and capacity-building initiatives for immigration authorities worldwide. During his tenure with Henley & Partners, he also served as a Senior Manager in the firm’s Government Advisory team.
Akram has additionally held several high-ranking positions within the Government of Uzbekistan, including roles at the Ministry of Investment and Trade, the State Assets Management Agency, and the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Presidential Administration, with a focus on investment promotion and country branding.
A graduate of the American University in Central Asia, Central European University, and the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, Akram is a member of the Investment Migration Council and is recognized as one of the leading experts on investment migration in Central Asia.
